For Chairs and Speakers

1. To chairs

Please be seated at the next chair's seat at least 15 minutes before your session beings. Session progress is left with the chairs, but please keep the time schedule.

2. To speakers

【Special programs】

Presidential lecture, special lecture, invited lecture, educational lecture, symposium, presidential program, luncheon seminar (educational seminar), evening symposium, JSA-WAO symposium, JSA-EAACI symposium
For presentation time and progress, please follow chair's instruction.

【English Session-Oral】

Each title is given 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A session.

【For all the oral presentations】

  • Oral presentations should be given using PC presentation (slides).
  • Please bring your USB flash memory, CD-R or notebook PC to the PC reception at least an hour before your presentation to register and to check your data.
  • PC receptions are located at the entrance lobby, 2F Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex and the lobby in front of session rooms, 2F Hotel New Otani Makuhari.
  • PC reception is open at the following times:
    June 22 (Fri.): 7:20 ~ 18:30
    June 23 (Sat.): 7:20 ~ 18:30
    June 24 (Sun.): 7:20 ~ 15:30

<For those bringing your data (USB flash memory, CD-R)>

  1. Following applications are available for use:
    Windows version of PowerPoint 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016
    *If you wish to present using Macintosh, please bring your own device.
  2. If you wish to play movie or sound data, you are asked to bring your own PC. Please do not forget to inform the operator at the PC reception as well.
  3. Movie players are limited to following software:
    Windows: Media Player
    Macintosh: Quick Time Player
  4. Please make sure screen size of the slides is XGA (1024 x 768) when you create data.
  5. Please use standardly installed fonts for slides:
    Japanese: MS Gothic, MSP Gothic, MS Mincho, MSP Mincho
    English: Century, Century Gothic, Times New Roman
  6. In case of any trouble, please bring back up data of your presentation.
  7. During your presentation, please use the control key pad set on the lectern and operate it yourself.
  8. Secretariat is responsible of deleting all the presentation data used after the presentation.

<For those bringing their own notebook PC>

  1. Secretariat will provide MiniD-sub15 pin cable connectors. Since some notebook PCs require extra connector, please check your PC, and if it uses any, please make sure to bring it to the meeting.
  2. If you wish to play movie or sound data, please do not forget to inform the operator at the PC reception.
  3. Please name your data file as ["abstract number" "your name"] and make sure to save it on your desktop.
  4. Please set the screensaver or power saving mode off prior to your presentation.
  5. Please do not forget to bring the power cable of your PC.
  6. In case of any trouble, please bring back up data of your presentation.
  7. Please have your PC returned at the PC operator seat inside the presentation room after your presentation is finished.
  8. Some PCs have mini AC adaptors, but it does not charge the battery while the PC is operating. Please refrain from using it during your presentation, and use the power cable of the PC instead.

【English Session-Poster】

  • Posters will be replaced every day. Please place your poster between 8:30 ~ 10:30 on the designated date at the designated place:
    Equipment exhibition, poster presentation hall (Exhibition Hall 8, 2F Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex)
  • Please present under the chair's instruction.
    Time given for each speakers is approximately 4 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A.

<About posters>

  • Poster panel board is provided. Your abstract number will be prepared and displayed at the top left of the panel by the secretariat.
  • Please prepare presentation title, speaker name and institution name (width 70cm × length 20cm) yourself.
    *Equipment required for display will be prepared by the secretariat.
    *Posters remaining after removal time will be disposed by the secretariat.

3.Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest (COI)

Main speaker is asked to show COI status in the first slide or the next slide after introducing presentation title and presenter, or display COI status at the end of poster.
